Guest Writer: The Curious Case of the Cats

Great to see a Panthers blog. But not one that is still focusing on the past. Lol, There's plenty of frustrating current season poop to write about. This team should be way ahead of their current points pace, but they are very often their own worst enemy.

Think the biggest problem here is just where they are heading? What IS the direction of the team? Seems kind of vague really from the top. Luongo isn't getting any younger and Reimer is NOT gonna carry the team, and just seems like they don't really have a game plan in place for how this team is going to be built, a lack of identity really.

Vinny is back!
They've actually played well the last two games, after a lifeless stretch.
The Jekyll and Hyde season continues....
But at least the last two games have actually been fun to watch, watching them self destruct all season has been maddening.

Until the shore up their defense and get a young quality goalie, they are going to stay in the .500 arena for a long time. Trade Bjugstad for a quality defenseman. Do whatever it takes to get Bob in goal. Last night vs Nashville the 4th line produced 4 pts. offense isnt the problem. Defense let up 39 shots and Reimer played out of his mind. We need physical defenseman.
